0900 - 1730	Beacon Manufacturer's Workshop (Public Meeting) The Beacon Manufacturer's Workshop, sponsored by the SARSAT Program Office, NOAA, U.S. Department of Commerce, will consider issues related to 406 MHz Satellite Emergency Position-Indicating Radiobeacons (EPIRBs), Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs), Personal Locator Beacons (PLB's), and the COSPAS-SARSAT System. Items to be addressed include Beacon Type Approval Testing, Next Generation (MEOSAR) Beacons and Beacon Registration among other topics.
