From Metro at street
level:
Take the long escalator from the train platform to
the ticket lobby.
Leave the station by the main entrance and cross
the street.
Turn left and walk toward McDonalds.
Turn right and walk through any of the parks on
this block to N. Lynn St., and continue to the corner at N. 19th
St.
Walk downhill on N. 19th Street as it curves into
N. Kent St.
The lobby entrance to the Plaza East Bldg., 1800 N.
Kent St. is the first entrance on the right.
From Metro at Skywalk
level:
Take the elevator (not the long escalator) from the
train platform to the Plaza level.
Follow the Skywalk, turning LEFT at all "T"
intersections. (There are several sets of doors to walk through.)
Look for directional signs that say "Plaza East" or
"1800 N. Kent St." and follow them.
Turn right near the end of the corridor into the
elevator lobby and take the elevator to the 10th floor.
(If you find yourself in the garage, you have gone
one door too far.)
From hotels:
Walk along Ft. Myer Drive to N. 19th
St.
Walk downhill on N. 19th Street to the intersection with
N. Kent St.
The lobby entrance to the Plaza East Bldg., 1800 N.
Kent St. is the first entrance on the right.
From nearby parking
garages:
The entrance to the parking garage at Plaza East,
1800 N. Kent St. is actually on N. 19th St. However daily parking may not
always be available there. There are several other nearby public garages that
usually are open to daily parking. See the map.
From any of these garages, find your way to N. 19th
St. The intersection with N. Kent St. is near the bottom of the hill. Plaza
East, 1800 N. Kent St. is at the corner of N. 19th St. and N. Kent
St.
