Welcome to Tampa and The Florida Aquarium!

The Florida Aquarium
701 Channelside Dr
 Tampa, FL  33602

Getting to the Aquarium:

By Trolley:

Tampa has a FREE trolley system called the TECO Line that runs through the city with various stops.  Their website is:  http://www.tecolinestreetcar.org/ and the direct link to the trolley map is http://www.tecolinestreetcar.org/assets/maps/Downtown%20STREETCAR%20Map%20(Website%2011-2021).pdf

To get to the Florida Aquarium, you may get off at either the Cumberland Avenue Station (Stop 8) or the Amelia Arena Station (Stop 7).  The Aquarium is located between these two stops.  If you are staying at the Westin, you will come out of the hotel, walk over the bridge, and the trolley picks up under the cement Gazebo to your right (Near the Embassy Suites Hotel).  This is Stop 10 – Dick Greco Plaza.  If you are staying at the Home2Suites, you can walk about 2 blocks down Kennedy Blvd and get on at Stop 5 (Publix Station).

By Car

If you arrive by car, there is a parking lot associated with the Aquarium.  Part of the parking lot is under construction so just be sure to follow the signs to walk along the sidewalk and trolley line to the Aquarium.

Address for the Florida Aquarium parking lot:
     1371-1387 E York St,
     Tampa, FL 33602

Depending what hotel you are staying at, Tampa is a very walkable city but be sure to pack an umbrella.  It is Florida and there are occasional afternoon pop up showers.   From the Westin it is about a one mile walk and from the Home2Suites it is about ½ mile.

Where to go once you are AT THE AQUARIUM:

When you arrive at the aquarium, you will enter the building through the Mosaic Center doors which are located to the right of the Visitor’s entrance (under a sign that says Mosaic Center in black letters above where the doors are located).  Please take the elevator to the second floor, take a quick right and then another right down a longer hallway with pictures.  Finally, turn left and the Mosaic Ballroom will be all the way down on the right.

Onsite Conference Check in

Before you reach the Mosaic Ballroom, please stop and see us at the conference registration table to pick up your badge and other conference materials.  You may see the conference schedule by viewing the online program(s).  Please use the links at the top of the pages to toggle between Day 1 and Day 2.
