As presented and discussed at the RTCM meeting earlier this week, we want to start the Task Force (TF) within the SSR-WG.  The goal of the TF is to gather interested members to actively consolidate and develop RTCM-SSR messages at a high pace and within a tight time schedule.  The work of the TF will be shared with the WG or other interested SC104 members via a new project on the SC-104 Basecamp site. The output of the TF will be discussed in the WG and at the plenary level through the conventional process.

The remote kick-off meeting of the TF will take place October 5th, 2021 for 1 hour at 8:00 MDT/16:00 CEST/23:00 JST. Regular meetings will then follow about every 14 days. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent before the meeting.  All SSR WG members are welcome and encouraged to actively participate in this activity.
