SC132 on for Electronic Visual Distress Signaling Devices has restarted to consider updating the standard and address a number of questions arising from Australia and California related to standards development in Australia and proposed legislation by the State of California.  The Special Committee will next meet virtually on 24 April 2024 and subsequently in person on 08 May 2024 in Atlantic Beach, FL at the One Ocean Resort during the RTCM Annual Assembly.
